Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness in our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the relevant teams.
- Assist in training and induction of new team members and provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Liaise with reception and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest requests and needs.
- Perform audits and record equipment conditions to ensure functionality and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
