About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hoar Cross Hall. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the management team.
- Assist in training and induction of new housekeeping staff members.
- Liaise with the reception team to ensure guest requests and needs are met.
- Perform audits and record equipment conditions to ensure functionality and cleanliness of room appliances.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures.
