Teaching Assistant Leader

GSL Education - Bournemouth seeks an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students in a vibrant school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a proven track record of supporting and leading in educational settings.
About the RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience of students. You will support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, stepping up in the absence of class teachers and contributing to the effective management and development of other Teaching Assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging lessons, providing support to students and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Take on the responsibility of delivering lessons and managing the classroom in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity and consistency in teaching.
- Oversee and support the work of other Teaching Assistants, offering guidance and mentoring to help them achieve their professional development goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
Estimated salary: £94,000 per year (based on £90-£110 per day)
The successful candidate must have a genuine passion for education, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to step into various teaching and leadership roles as required.
