Teaching Assistant Leader Role

GSL Education - Bournemouth is seeking an experienced and passionate HLTA to lead our team of Teaching Assistants.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, leading by example and supporting students and colleagues alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of supporting and leading in educational settings and the ability to step into various teaching and leadership roles as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Assist in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, providing support to students and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Take on classroom responsibilities in the absence of the class teacher, maintaining continuity and consistency in teaching.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Oversee and support other Teaching Assistants, offering guidance and mentoring for professional development.
  • Student Progress: Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support students to reach their full potential.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £90-£110 per day, reflective of your experience and skills, and ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your career.
