Director of Vendor Management

At MUFG Investor Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Director Asset Management to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor contract matters from start to finish, including taking instructions, gathering information, determining the appropriate course of action, managing timelines and people's expectations, reviewing and drafting legal documents, negotiating agreements, and managing input from the business and external counsel.
Key Responsibilities- Manage vendor contract matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Recognize and escalate vendor contractual issues with MUFG vendor management, outsourcing, data protection, Legal, information security, and business teams.
- Assist and advise vendor management and Legal on opportunities for enhancements to vendor contract review processes and procedures.
- Respond to legal queries from operational departments, internal control/support groups, client integration/client services teams, senior management, and entity boards.
- Advising the business on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters across all key jurisdictions of the business and assisting the business with managing legal risk.
- Attend to any other ad hoc duties or projects as required.
