Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care and support to a gentleman in his late 60's living independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the client with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and community outings
  • Promote independence and empower the client to reach their full potential
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the client's unique needs
  • Collaborate with the client's family and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (experience with wheelchair-accessible vehicles an asset)
  • Experience working with adults with physical and cognitive impairments (brain injury experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, professional, and honest with a strong sense of discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
