National Supply Chain Programme Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead our National Supply Chain Programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a large-scale warehouse automation capital investment project, ensuring the solution meets the needs of our business.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in executing large-scale capital investment projects through a PMO set up, with experience in managing business-wide stakeholders, both nationally and internationally. You will be responsible for leading a team, managing risks, issues, and dependencies, and constructing suitable action plans to rectify and deliver the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Programme Managers and Coordinators
- Develop and implement project management methodologies and tools
- Manage and monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage and report on project finances, including budgeting and forecasting
- Develop and implement project governance and assurance frameworks
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Programme Management Office Manager with a strong background in project management, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced environment. You will have a proven track record in managing large-scale projects, with experience in PMO management, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Articulate and numerate with clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Project and/or Programme Management experience
- Experience in PMO Management
- Industry experience in a management role
- Leadership/Team Management experience
- Management of 3PL, cost savings, and budget management
- Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
- Strong Project/Programme management experience in a retail or similar fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of managing moving deadlines, multiple project strands, and critical paths
- Computer literate, including strong office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Outlook
- Previous experience of managing data and creating reporting templates
- Utilising data to identify risks and opportunities and to develop new ideas and concepts

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £61,065 to £94,240, depending on experience.
