Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for mortgage lending? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Case Manager to join our team at D&R Recruitment Limited.

About the Role:

  • Manage a pipeline of 1st and 2nd charge cases from mortgage offer to completion.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure seamless case progression.
  • Monitor and update management information systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure all mortgage conditions are met before case completion.
  • Process incoming completion documentation and provide daily/weekly/monthly completion forecasts to the line manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to obtain necessary information for case progression.
  • Manage upcoming expiration of documents and offers.
  • Update systems to maintain accurate management information.
  • Work closely with underwriting team to effectively manage post-offer caseload.
  • Process incoming completion documentation.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly completion forecasts.
  • Gain understanding of underwriting process and provide cross-skill cover when required.
  • Create digital application file and ensure all necessary documentation is collected, scanned, and stored correctly.
  • Instruct solicitors to act on behalf of West One in the transaction.
  • Carry out QA check for other underwriters.
  • Return original documents to clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience within secured lending sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Good understanding of underwriting process is desirable but not essential.
  • Industry-relevant qualifications are beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Experience within an administrative role.
  • GCSE English & Maths.
