Retail Sales Strategy Director

We are seeking a seasoned Retail Sales Strategy Director to spearhead the growth and success of our retail division. Reporting directly to our Retail Director, you will drive sales expansion, oversee performance, and ensure alignment with our business objectives.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed retail sales targets.
- Analyzing sales performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, informing decision-making, and optimizing sales strategies.
- Staying up-to-date on market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Setting clear sales goals and objectives for Regional Sales Managers, ensuring alignment with the overall retail strategy objectives.
- Making the most of sales opportunities through promotional activations across the business, in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Solidifying commercial information for effective communication with the Retail Director, including team performance, business initiatives, and more.
- Cross-functionally representing Retail Sales with relevant departments such as Commercial and Marketing.
You will also oversee:
- Sales revenue across all locations.
- The retail sales budget, monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and ensuring cost-effective operations while achieving revenue targets across all markets.
- Detailed sales reports and business proposals to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- P&L success by optimizing EBITDA through strategic financial planning, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Store stock inventory accuracy, minimizing losses within the stock loss targets, and identifying opportunities to optimize and evolve processes.
- Creating commercial, visually appealing, and effective operational environments for customers and team members.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Demonstrable experience overseeing a retail sales function within the beauty industry, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Experience building and implementing retail sales strategies across multiple markets.
- Experience scaling a brand, standardizing the retail experience.
- A strong understanding of revenue targets, budgets, sales reports, and business reporting on data.
- Experience managing a team and recruiting retail store teams across multiple markets.
- Familiarity with the retail environment within concessions, kiosks, and owned stores.
