As our Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll provide expert guidance in instrumentation and automation systems design, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Your work will have a significant impact on our business and the UK as a whole. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, celebrating the unique contributions each member brings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capture customer requirements
  • Design automation, instrumentation, and safety systems and products
  • Translate requirements into designs and specifications
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and commission automation systems
  • SOURCE and test instrumentation to prove suitability for application
  • Prepare design risk assessments
  • Issue electrical wiring and interconnection drawings using CAD
  • Manage and maintain system documentation
  • Verify designs and documentation for correctness and compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with suitable suppliers of equipment, services, and materials

  • Creating and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design
  • Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Design
  • Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) Design
  • Digital Signal Processors (DSP) Design
  • Sizing protection components and cables
  • BSc degree qualification in an Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
