Role Overview

Vistry Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Adoption Specialist to join our team. This role involves coordinating the maintenance and timely adoption of completed estate roads, sewers, and public open spaces.

  • Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
Responsibilities
  1. Work with the Construction and Commercial Departments to ensure a timely sign-off/handover for roads, sewers, play areas, and open spaces on historic sites.
  2. Attend sites during infrastructure works/activities and identify/record issues, monitor quality, and provide positive feedback or raise concerns with the build team and/or contractors.
  3. Arrange and review CCTV Surveys, As-Built Surveys, Streetlight Electrical Test Certificates, etc.
  4. Investigate barriers to adoption of Legacy Sites and explore and pursue solutions with adopting authorities.
  5. Provide assistance and guidance to the Technical Department with respect to preparation of Adoption Plans, Deed Plans, Agreements, and statutory processes, etc.
  6. Use AutoCAD to produce or amend Adoptions Plans for Highways, Sewers, and POS areas as necessary.
  7. Prepare and issue Highway H&S Files to adopting authorities.
  8. Manage external consultants to assist with adoptions as required, including their performance and costs.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: In a similar position with a recognized housing developer or Highway/Drainage Authority.
  • Education: Civil Engineering related qualification (Degree, HND, or HNC) is desirable.
  • Skills: Computer literate with good knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and Word. Accurate with an eye for detail. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
