About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding Manager to join our Compliance team at WWF-UK. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization safeguards everyone who comes into contact with our work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, Statements of Principles, and Safeguarding Policy in our work with communities internationally and in the UK. You will ensure that we do not cause harm or risk to adults, children, and young people directly through our actions, events, and communications. Additionally, you will promote a culture where all staff members are informed and equipped to spot and act on safeguarding issues and concerns in online and physical spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the implementation of our Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, Statements of Principles, and Safeguarding Policy
* Ensure that our activities comply with adult and child safeguarding best practice
* Lead on safeguarding governance and reporting
* Provide training and coaching to increase the level of safeguarding capability in adult and child safeguarding in key departments

What We Offer:
* A competitive salary of £43,000-47,000 per annum
* A full benefits and rewards package, including annual leave starting at 26 days a year, rising one day each year to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays, flexible working options, 5% employer contribution to pension, increased to 10% with employee contribution, training and development opportunities, and regular wellbeing initiatives
* The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to be in the office 20% of your contracted hours
