The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer currently performing at senior levels, to help drive the software development for our key programme in Leonardo's Advanced Targeting Sector.

Job Type: Hybrid Working: Onsite

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on UK location.

  • As a senior-level engineer, you will lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead software development teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications, using C/C++ and UML.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement software configuration management tools, ensuring version control and change management.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Software Engineering or related science.
  • Proficiency in Real Time Embedded Software Application design.
  • Good knowledge of developing software within a development process framework.
  • Experience in software lifecycle from requirements definition through to implementation, integration test, and delivery.
