About the Role
The Behaviour Support Officer position at Harris Lowe Academy Willesden requires an individual with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the needs of our students. This challenging yet rewarding role involves promoting excellent behaviour, managing late detentions, and providing informal mentoring to students on Personalised Support Plans (PSPs).

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include ensuring student safety and supervision before school, during breaks, and throughout lunch. You will also oversee the registration of students who are late to the academy, maintain accurate records, and liaise with parents/carers and staff to ensure smooth transitions. In addition, you will support the implementation of our Behaviour for Learning Policy, manage conflicts, and provide guidance to students on how to improve their behaviour.

Skills and Qualifications:
We are seeking an individual with GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent. Previous experience working in an inner-city school or educational establishment is essential, as is knowledge of behaviour for learning policies and child protection procedures. Successful applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
