Senior Destination Manager - Europe

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Destination Manager to join our team at C&M Travel Recruitment. As a key member of our luxury travel team, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable, creative, and exceptional travel experiences for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of European destinations, including their unique characteristics, attractions, and experiences.
  • Create and manage high-quality, tailormade itineraries that exceed client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, negotiating rates and service level agreements to ensure the best possible experiences for our clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and performance of local suppliers, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the luxury travel market, identifying opportunities to increase product revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that showcases the unique experiences of our destinations and itineraries.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to sell our luxury travel products effectively.
  • Work closely with the Health and Safety team to ensure that all audits are up-to-date and actions are implemented to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and overseas travel to meet with local suppliers and stay connected with the industry.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Destination Manager or Product Manager in the luxury travel industry.
  • Deep knowledge of European destinations, including their history, culture, and attractions.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
