About the Role

Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective nursery operation.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of childcare and education, adhering to Ofsted regulations and Tops Day Nurseries' policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years care and Education.
  • Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for child development and a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team to meet the needs of the nursery and its children.
