School Support Position:

This challenging yet rewarding School Support position at Acorn Park School is designed to empower individuals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with Autism. As a vital part of our team, you will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a rich and engaging educational experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring a smooth delivery of the curriculum.
  • Work closely with the pastoral team to develop and implement strategies promoting the well-being and safety of students.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate records of student progress, facilitating informed decision-making and effective planning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your understanding of Autism and best practices in supporting students with complex needs.

Salary: £20,906.25 per annum

Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
