Job Description

Bradford Council seeks a Business Support Officer to join the Education Psychology Team and the Social Communication and Interaction Team (SCIL Team). The successful candidate will provide administrative support and general office duties, including data entry, customer contact, and document processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support assistance as and when required.
  • General office duties, including the use of Microsoft Office packages and CIVICA & Capita ONE systems.
  • Front-line customer contact, providing exceptional customer service, and dealing with confidential information.
  • Update electronic diaries, take meeting minutes, and process data on to complex spreadsheets.
  • Raise purchase orders on SAP and deal with vendor queries.

Requirements:

  • Be a team player and have a flexible approach to the role.
  • Work independently and have excellent organisational skills.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with a wide range of people.
  • Experience of working in a busy office, working to deadlines, and prioritising tasks.
