Job Description

The Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Weekend Care Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing patient flow and hospital coordination on weekends. This involves ensuring the smooth delivery of safe and timely patient care, while also addressing any immediate issues that may arise.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong background in healthcare operations management. You will have a proven track record of managing complex data and information, as well as experience in service improvement and project management. Additionally, you will have demonstrated leadership skills, having directed senior clinical and non-clinical teams in achieving key performance indicators.

We are looking for someone who can provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial relevant experience in acute hospital patient flow and or site management.
  • Demonstrable experience of management handling of data and information.
  • Service Improvement and project management.
  • Experience of leading and directing senior clinical and non-clinical teams in achieving key performance indicators.
