Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Accounts and Bookkeeper to join our team at Global Highland Limited. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's financial processes and potentially lead to a permanent role.

About the Role

  • This 20-hour per week position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong organizational skills.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with SAGE or similar accounting systems, including data input, analysis, and generating reports.
  • Prior experience with EPOS systems, particularly those managing multiple till points linked to individual member accounts and generating detailed sales reports, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of cash, EPOS sales/transactions (card and member accounts), gaming machines, and petty cash.
  • Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations, aligning incoming and outgoing invoices, payments, direct debits, and cash transactions.
