About the Job

HMNB Clyde is a strategic military base, home to the UK's Strategic Nuclear Deterrent and Astute Class Attack Submarines. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of Drumfork Community Centre, ensuring it meets the needs of its users.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of military families and the wider community. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to develop and maintain processes that ensure the centre operates effectively and efficiently.

The post holder will also be responsible for managing relationships with third-party organisations, including cash handling and health & safety on site. You will play a key role in shaping and leading a programme of activities for the Armed Forces and wider community.

Main Duties
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure the centre operates effectively and efficiently
  • Support the Centre Manager in managing relationships with third-party organisations
  • Work closely with the management team to shape and lead a programme of activities
  • Manage the needs of room hirers and users, providing a high standard of customer service
  • Ensure the building/premises are made safely available
  • To be Key-holder for the premises, including reasonable requests to provide access out with normal hours/weekend events etc.
Person Specification
  • A proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
  • The ability to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
