Electronics Product Design and Test Development Opportunity

CV Library is seeking an experienced Electronics Product Design and Test Development Engineer to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronics products with a focus on test equipment, fixtures, and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronics products with a focus on test equipment, fixtures, and software.
  • Work on the compliance side of testing, ensuring EMC testing safety.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using skills in electronics and software.
  • Debug electronic and system designs, test products in the test house, and create technical documentation.
  • Liaise with manufacturing teams in the UK and US.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an electronics product design environment.
  • Experience with various microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of analogue and digital circuits.
  • Understanding of product design from spec with consideration of DFT and DFM.
  • EMC knowledge and experience is a must.
  • Good understanding of test automation tools, such as LabView.
