Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Senior Executive to join our Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications team at Connells Group HQ. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping our internal and external communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Communications Efforts: Collaborate with our internal communications, external B2B communications, and Press Office teams to develop and implement effective communications strategies.
  • Crafting Engaging Content: Write clear, informative, and engaging copy for various channels, including press releases, internal communications newsletters, articles, and B2B social media posts.
  • Tailoring Messaging: Adapt your writing style to connect with different target audiences, from estate agents, mortgage brokers, and letting agents to regional journalists.
  • Proofreading and Polishing: Ensure the content created is factually correct and of value to the audience, with a keen eye for detail and impeccable grammar.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply SEO principles to maximize the reach and impact of your copy.
  • Exploring Future Efficiencies: Investigate the use of AI platforms to enhance engagement and streamline communications processes.
  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the business and with journalists.
  • Supporting PR Efforts: Assist the PR Manager in pitching interesting and attractive properties to the regional and national press.
  • Stakeholder Management: Balance competing deadlines and projects across multiple divisions within Connells Group HQ, while liaising with internal stakeholders to deliver requested communications projects.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in communications.
  • Copywriting Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of English.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Conduct thorough research to uncover compelling stories.
  • Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective to the role.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulously proofread and edit your work.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with team members.
  • Proven Experience in Issues Management: Demonstrate expertise in managing complex issues and crises.
