Technical Maintenance Specialist

A fantastic opportunity to work in-house at a critical data centre. We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the fast-growing Data Centre industry. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased with a wealth of building maintenance experience, ideally within a critical environment, and experience with duties such as chillers, cooling, UPS, HVAC, generators, and water treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive maintenance on client assets through the operation of the Planned Preventative Maintenance System.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records pertaining to Health & Safety, Building Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
- Plan, manage, and implement the delivery of Facilities Maintenance services to the Data Centre while ensuring operational performance is maintained to the highest possible standards.
- Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirements of the contract. Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
- Complete comprehensive maintenance records in the form of job sheets.
- Prepare, review, and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks (PPM's and reactive) to ensure safe working practices.
- Action and complete assigned tasks appropriately, including the utilisation of shift engineers to ensure the task is suitably completed.

Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds - Level 3
- Knowledge of chillers, cooling, UPS, HVAC, generators, and water treatment
- A proven track record in Building Maintenance
- Good Communication Skills
- Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical
- Good Leadership & Management skills
