About the Role

As a Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for managing shift manpower to achieve uptime and quality requirements, carrying out root cause investigations and counter measures to closure, and planning, scheduling and carrying out running checks and repairs. You will also drive the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programme and implement company and departmental processes and procedures, including safety, 5S methodology, time and attendance, and disciplinary at shift level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Maintenance team to deliver a high-quality service to production
  • Carry out root cause investigations and implement counter measures to closure
  • Plan, schedule and carry out running checks and repairs
  • Drive the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programme
  • Implement company and departmental processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Knowledge of ABB robots, Ethernet IP/IO, PLC's and safety PLC's
  • Demonstrable experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
  • Previous experience in similar role including having knowledge of mechanical/electrical control systems
  • Knowledge of company procedures regarding Safety, COSHH and ergonomics
  • Previous skills of growing and leading a team
