Job Title: Technical Pricing Manager

Join Harnham, a leading data and analytics recruitment agency, as we seek a skilled Technical Pricing Manager to lead our pricing model function.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Pricing Manager to lead the development of risk pricing models across all product lines. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the creation of model monitoring frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the build and development of risk pricing models across all product lines.
  • Contribute to the development of model monitoring frameworks to ensure ongoing updates to risk models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data used for risk modelling is consistent and accurate.
  • Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as the technical pricing expert across each product line.
  • Work with the Portfolio Management and Underwriting teams on risk appetite and product development.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of predictive modelling techniques, including GLM, GBM, and/or ML techniques.
  • Experience using Emblem or Radar software and having built/developed Radar models.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Personal Lines Insurance markets.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: SAS, SQL, Python, R.
  • 5+ years personal lines experience in the UK market.
  • 2+ years management of a pricing and/or analytical team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
