About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Pricing Model Validation to join our team at ICBC Standard Bank. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for validating pricing models to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of pricing models, stochastic calculus, and numerical analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate pricing models and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement advanced modeling techniques to improve pricing accuracy and reduce risk.
  • Provide expert guidance on pricing model validation and risk management to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics or physics.
  • Strong experience with validating pricing models and advanced modeling techniques.
  • Excellent academic credentials and a strong track record of achievement.
  • Good working experience in Excel and C++.
  • Experience with Murex is beneficial.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently.
