About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Data Management and Governance to join our team at Harnham. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data management and governance strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data management and governance strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Design and implement data management and governance frameworks
  • Provide expert guidance on data management and governance best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure data management and governance needs are met
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of data management and governance principles and best practices
  • Expertise in utilising Data Catalogue, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Modelling Tools
  • Deep understanding and expertise in Data Profiling and Modelling using leading tools
  • Technology led approach to Data Management & Governance
  • Expertise in AI Governance and AI Ethics
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement data management and governance strategies
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and ethical considerations in Data & AI
  • Ability to analyse complex data issues and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and convey data-related policies and practices
What We Offer

The successful contractor will receive a competitive daily rate of £500 - £650 per day over an initial 6-month contract with a high chance of extension. This role is hybrid, offering the flexibility to work from home or in our office.
