Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to lead our data management and governance efforts. As the Head of Data Enablement - Management & Governance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data management and governance strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Develop and implement data management strategies that ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure effective data management and governance practices.
  • Communication: Communicate data-related policies and practices to various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and data analysts.
  • Analysis: Analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding: Deep understanding of data management and governance principles and best practices.
  • Expertise: Expertise in utilising Data Catalogue, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Modelling Tools.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement data management and governance strategies.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and convey data-related policies and practices.

Benefits:

The successful contractor will receive a competitive daily rate over an initial 6-month contract with a high chance of extension.
