About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team, working closely with the SEN department and class teachers to plan and deliver tailored lessons for students with a range of special educational needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN, ensuring all students make progress in line with their individual learning plans.">
  • Differentiating the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students, using a variety of teaching methods and resources.">
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a truly inclusive learning environment for students with SEN.">
  • Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and behavioral skills, fostering an atmosphere of respect and inclusion.">
  • Writing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting with monitoring and tracking student progress.

Your Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a passion for SEN education, committed to ensuring every student achieves their best. You will have:

  • ">
  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and experience teaching students with SEN in a secondary school setting.">
  • A deep understanding of the challenges students with SEN face and a commitment to supporting them in achieving their potential.">
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in developing engaging and inclusive lessons.">
  • A relevant SEN qualification (e.g., SENDCo, or evidence of specific SEN training), desirable but not essential.
