About the Role


Trevett Professional Services Ltd are currently seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Lead Surveyor to join their team based in the Derby area. This is a permanent position offering competitive salary and benefits.



Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all types of asbestos sampling, surveying, and reinspections. They will oversee all aspects of the survey process on-site, risk assess sites, and liaise with clients accordingly. Documenting surveys and inspections is also a key part of this role, as well as leading surveys and mentoring trainee surveyors.




  • Prior experience in the field is required, with at least one year of experience in asbestos surveying.
  • A valid driving license with no more than three points is essential.
  • Hold a BOHS P402 (or equivalent) Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos qualification.
  • Familiarity with Asbestos Data Collection Software (Alpha Tracker) is desirable.
  • A pass DBS check is required.
