About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Assistant to join our Imaging Team at KIMS Hospital. As an Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Lead Imaging Nurse in delivering excellent patient care across all modalities, including Ultrasound, Mammography, and Cross-Sectional Imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and clinical support within the Imaging Department.
  • Assisting and supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in Ultrasound.
  • Assisting the Radiologist with Ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA's) and ensuring that the equipment is set up correctly.
  • Assisting the Breast Radiologist in undertaking biopsy and aspiration procedures.
  • Promoting independence and encouraging patients to undertake tasks within their capabilities.
