About the Role

We are seeking a caring and dynamic Imaging Assistant to join our Imaging Team at KIMS Hospital. As an Imaging Assistant, you will provide administrative and clinical support within the Imaging Department, assisting with Ultrasound, Mammography, and Cross-Sectional Imaging procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including preparing patients for procedures and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist Radiologists with Ultrasound guided Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA's) and biopsy procedures.
  • Support the Breast Radiologist in undertaking biopsy and aspiration procedures.
  • Promote independence and encourage patients to undertake tasks within their capabilities.

Person Specification

  • NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent.
