We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Queensmount Care Home in Bournemouth.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will act as the link between the main kitchen and residents, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Assist chefs with meal preparation, food trolleys, and maintaining clean preparation areas.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Support catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
We offer a competitive salary of £11.80 per hour.
