Plumbing and Heating Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our Repairs and Maintenance team at The Goodwood Estate.

In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring water compliance across the estate and carrying out repairs, improvements, and routine maintenance to the private water supply and building infrastructure.

You will have extensive experience in plumbing and heating systems, including legionella control tasks and prevention, and be able to demonstrate a methodical and disciplined approach to your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs, improvements, and routine maintenance to the private water supply and building infrastructure
  • Ensure water compliance across the estate
  • Have extensive experience in plumbing and heating systems, including legionella control tasks and prevention
  • Be able to demonstrate a methodical and disciplined approach to your work

Requirements:

  • Experience in legionella control tasks and prevention as well as an all-round knowledge of hot and cold water systems
  • Installation and maintenance knowledge of heating systems desirable
  • Availability to be on-call at least 18 weeks per year (including every 3rd weekend)
  • NVQ level 3 in plumbing or equivalent is desirable

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
