About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Services Director to join our team at Spire Healthcare Group plc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our clinical services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Hospital Director as required, providing leadership and guidance to the clinical team.
  • Promote a patient-focused, efficient, and quality service that aligns with our corporate direction.
  • Develop and implement the hospital's clinical strategy, supporting and contributing to the overall business strategy.
  • Lead the development of a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, and security.
  • Formulate strategies and policies for service improvement within an evolving corporate agenda, balancing quality healthcare delivery with sound financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain clinical practice standards within our Governance and Regulatory framework.
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Director and consultants to achieve the Hospital's Annual Operating Plan, delivering the hospital's clinical strategy.
  • Act as Caldicott Guardian, safeguarding and governing the use of patient information within the hospital.
  • Act as the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for the hospital.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare provider sector.
  • Competence across a range of clinical, management, and leadership skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and further education and development.
  • Registration with an appropriate Health Professional Regulator (e.g. NMC/HCPC/GPC).
  • Demonstrated post-registration, continual professional development in management and clinically related and relevant subjects.
