About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with SEMH needs. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and structured environment, helping students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in a primary and secondary setting
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Provide targeted support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and/or in the care sector
  • Open to training and development
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Good understanding of special educational needs
  • Ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • Patient and understanding attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
