About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team in Wirral primary schools and make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCo.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Observing and recording student progress, contributing to progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
- Supporting students in developing essential social and life skills.
We are looking for an individual with:
- Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, as well as a supportive and collaborative working environment.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
