BNY Mellon is seeking a talented Product Management Vice President to join our Middle Office Solutions Product team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new product features and working closely with our development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams.
  • Liaison between Development and Business partners.
  • Work on solution requirements for new Product features.
  • Participate in new client onboarding efforts, as needed, to define gaps in product features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Several years total work experience preferred.
  • Strong experience as a Security master, Pricing implementation, Data management, Investment Operations domain.
  • Strong experience in at least one Investment Operations domain (Data management, Trade management, Derivatives, IBOR, Data Delivery/Reporting).
  • Working knowledge on Pricing data vendors; configuration of vendor structure.
  • Experience with diverse asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income/FX/Derivatives (Cleared/Bilateral) & Cash).
  • Experience in technology projects from start to finish, including gathering/documenting requirements, communicating with development team, and overseeing/assisting with testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ability to quickly learn and map business processes to systems & capabilities is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in performing business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, data mapping and testing while collaborating with business teams.
  • Experience in formulating and defining project scope, goals, constraints and assumptions using existing documented processes based upon user needs as well as a thorough knowledge of the application, business, operations and industry.
  • Oracle/SQL Skills is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Investment operations workflows and functions is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market data across all asset classes and a view of the premier market data vendors is preferred.
  • Exposure to Eagle Pricing Center and/or Eagle Data integration is a plus.
  • Exposure to Saphyre is a plus.
  • Functional specifications write up is a plus.
