BNY Mellon is seeking a talented Vice President, Product Management to join our Middle Office Solutions Product team in Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the development of our product features and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Liaise between Development and Business partners to gather requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Work on solution requirements for new Product features, leveraging your expertise in Investment Operations domain.
  • Participate in new client onboarding efforts to define gaps in product features and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Several years of total work experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in Security master, Pricing implementation, Data management, and Investment Operations domain.
  • Working knowledge of Pricing data vendors and configuration of vendor structure.
  • Experience with diverse asset classes, including Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, and Cash.
  • Ability to quickly learn and map business processes to systems and capabilities.
  • Experience in performing business analysis activities, such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, data mapping, and testing.
  • Oracle/SQL Skills preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Investment operations workflows and functions preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market data across all asset classes and premier market data vendors preferred.
