About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in Bedford. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and developing your skills to progress to a store management role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer interaction is memorable and drives loyalty
  • Drive sales growth through effective selling techniques, product knowledge, and commercial awareness
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Monitor and control store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store appearance
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives

Requirements
  • Proven sales and customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive sales growth
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
