Senior Health Care Support Worker

The successful post holder will deliver high-quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses. The post holder will ensure a person-centered approach to care delivery, which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will provide assistance within a variety of settings as required, e.g., patients' homes, treatment rooms.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses.
- Ensure a person-centered approach to care delivery, which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
- Provide assistance within a variety of settings as required, e.g., patients' homes, treatment rooms.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfill the requirements of continuing professional development.
- SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.
- A full, valid UK/EU/EEA license.
- A minimum of 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service.
- A minimum of 8 days of public holidays.
