We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our Radiology Department at University Hospital Wishaw. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our radiology staff in producing excellent images.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a high standard of care to patients of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and clinical conditions during radiological imaging procedures.
- Assist radiology staff in producing high-quality images in all imaging modalities, ensuring effective and efficient patient flow.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support.
- Participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfill the requirements of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical (incorporating modules on radiographic images) or working towards or equivalent radiography experience.
- Ability to work unsupervised and take direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to plan and organize own workload and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Effective computer skills.
- A minimum of 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service.
- A minimum of 8 days of public holidays.
