About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our team at University Hospital Wishaw. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing and medical staff in the theatres ward.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, with experience in perioperative care or a related field. You will be responsible for carrying out care duties for patients, working closely with registered nurses and operating department practitioners to ensure the highest standards of care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in the theatres ward
  • Work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Carry out care duties for patients, including administering medications and providing emotional support
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment in the theatres ward
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
Requirements
  • SVQ III in perioperative care or working towards
  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in a perioperative setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
