Exciting Opportunity for Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire.

About the Role

The service consists of Psychological Therapists, Peer Support Workers, and a Team Administrator, and is based in the Houldsworth Centre Wishaw.

We proudly serve a population of 655,000 across rural and urban communities in both North and South Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological therapy services to patients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers
  • Participate in ongoing Continuing Professional Development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology with:

An honours degree in psychology (eligible for GBR)A post-graduate Masters level (or equivalent) degree in Psychological TherapyKnowledge of Psychiatry and other related professions to understand complex clinical presentationsAwareness of the limits of one's competence and expertise and work within those boundariesCommitment to ongoing Continuing Professional DevelopmentWhat We Offer
