About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Manager to join our team at DOF Subsea UK. As an Offshore Manager, you will play a key role in representing our Project Execution Department and liaising with clients, contractors, and subcontractor representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope of Work Management: You will be responsible for managing all activities related to the scope of work, including mobilization and demobilization, handling operations and emergency situations onboard.
  • Client Liaison: You will brief clients on the operational capability and limitations, ensuring that all personnel involved in the operation are carrying out their appointed tasks.
  • Project Safety: You will ensure project safety meetings are held regularly, safety reporting is carried out, and all personnel involved in the operation are carrying out their appointed tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will ensure that all equipment and spares are in a satisfactory condition and being maintained as such to ensure efficient operations.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: You will ensure daily worksite reports are issued and the content of the report reflects reporting requirements and operational procedures.
  • Performance Evaluation: You will evaluate the performance of crew members and use the Appraisal and Competence Scheme as required.

Requirements
  • Degree level or equivalent Electrical/Mechanical or relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Supervisor certification
  • Experience in Subsea Operations
  • Demonstrable experience in Offshore Supervisory position within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential
  • Working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
  • Detailed knowledge of subsea operations using divers and/or ROV's
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent communicator, written and oral skills
  • Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems with a pleasant and articulate manner
  • Capable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level
  • Good organisational skills
