Eden Scott is excited to partner with a leading Oil and Gas organization in the search for a skilled Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

  • Execute assignments as directed by the Installation Engineering Manager or the designated project team, focusing primarily on technical challenges while also engaging in administrative and project management tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Manager(s) and the International Business Unit Leader to ensure that all project goals, timelines, deliverables, and milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee the installation engineering processes for subsea equipment, encompassing development, assessment, engineering, design, procurement, and construction phases to guarantee efficient and effective project completion.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the engineering tasks carried out by the project team of Engineers.
  • Accountable for the formulation and evaluation of installation engineering procedures and specifications, ensuring adherence to design principles, relevant standards, and client requirements.
  • Develop design modifications, specifications, schematics, and testing protocols for installation apparatus and subsea hardware, which may involve equipment location, vendor selection assistance, and creating scopes of work for subcontractors.
  • Conduct reviews and/or perform engineering calculations and analyses.
  • Evaluate product designs, participate in, and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
  • Establish project deliverable timelines by analyzing project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing deliverables.
  • Prepare presentations, articles, and technical documentation.
  • Engage with Document Control, Design Analysts, and Design/Drafters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate interactions within and outside of meetings with project team members and clients.
  • Undertake non-engineering responsibilities such as overseeing offshore operations and providing on-site supervision of projects and subcontractors.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Compensation: £650 per day
