Job Description
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the department, driving growth and revenue.
- Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to exceed targets, fostering a culture of excellence and success.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Oversee and land new contracts through bid management, ensuring a competitive edge.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for business improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction, delivering a seamless experience.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the sector, driving business expansion.
- Head up sales, reporting into the Board, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Sales - Contract Catering' should have:
- A strong background in sales within the Business Services sector, preferably with a link to Food or Contract Catering services.
- Leadership experience; sales training, development planning, best practice, encouraging a successful culture.
- Passion for scaling up a team and making sales pivotal in business growth.
- Defining and executing a channel/client strategic business plan.
- Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with multi-function touch points.
- Internal & external influence from top down.
- Proficiency in using sales tracking and reporting.
