As a Home Care Assistant with Care South at Home, you will be part of a friendly and supportive team who share our values of HEART. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
About the RoleWe are currently seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. As a Home Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, supporting them with daily tasks, personal care, and domestic services. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and experience through ongoing training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify the needs and abilities of our clients and provide personalized care and support
- Assist with medication, meal preparation, and domestic services
- Support with community visits, such as shopping and leisure trips
- Regularly communicate with our office support team
- A UK driving license and access to a vehicle (business insurance required)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in working hours, including every other weekend
We offer a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour, plus £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate. Other benefits include free life assurance for staff with contracted hours, paid travel time, 40p per mile mileage allowance, Blue Light discount card, Employee Assistance Programme, and outstanding training and career advancement opportunities.
