About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Director to lead our project finance initiatives at SIEMENS Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for managing targeted financial results in revenue, profit, cash, asset position, and financing instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead projects with the Project Manager to drive financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Review and evaluate contract conditions, including attachments, to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the PM to allocate onshore and offshore costs effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Manage project financials, maintain actuals, forecast, and budget in close collaboration with offshore CPMs.
  • Ensure accurate cost and pricing calculations, as well as overall project books and records, including tracking of expenses and invoices.
  • Prepare commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensure accuracy of commercial project data.
  • Actively participate in cost review sessions with the project team, leading discussions on cost optimization and risk management.
  • Perform asset management, initiate invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms, and manage risks, contracts, and claims.
  • Optimize project financials and cash flow by actively managing costs and invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with customer representatives and resolve commercial issues promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with FRG and local GAAP requirements, as well as relevant tax regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project finance and commercial management, with a strong track record of delivering financial results.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Familiarity with FRG and local GAAP requirements, as well as relevant tax regulations.
  • Service Business experience and LTSA experience is an asset.
